Key Requirements

  • Review FBI communications to identify and evaluate the intelligence information therein.
  • Prepare and disseminate intelligence information while protecting sources and investigations through correct document classification and controls.
  • Communicate with FBI field offices, legal Attaches (Legats), analysts, and members of the Intelligence Community (IC), policy, and law enforcement communities to gain a better
understanding of sources, operations, missions, and requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of collection instructions, guides, and manuals for FBI entities and interact with outside entities to facilitate their initiatives.
  • Analysis to include collation of raw, primary, and secondary data derived from various sources such as automated data base systems, operational intelligence reports, miscellaneous
communications, case files, internal and external automation systems, and other sources.
  • Prepares parts of more complex studies or reports that include aspects related to their specifically-defined geographic or functional area.
  • May participate in interagency committees and meetings as representatives of the organization or functional area.
  • Evaluates incoming reports and information and performs interpretations and projections under the guidance of senior analysts.
  • Prepares basic descriptive and current reportorial intelligence reports to higher-level analysts and superiors in their assigned area of responsibility.

Support our data network and services including data centers, AWS cloud network services, wide area/metro area/local area networks. The incumbent manages operational reliability and performance of existing buildings and wide-area networks and quickly resolves any network service interruptions that occur. As required by business changes, extends, and enhances the company network. May be required to implement new configurations in AWS, data centers or desktop environments. This position works as part of a Network Engineering group. May require travel outside of normal business hours. Participate in 24×7 on-call support rotation

The Fragiadakis (Data Science) and Combes (Disease to Biology) Labs, are seeking researchers in computational biology, bioinformatics, and data science to tackle current challenges in immunology. As a member of the lab, you will learn the analysis methods, as well as the conceptual and biological background, to analyze -omics datasets such as CyTOF, single-cell sequencing, and spatial transcriptomics. Once comfortable with these methods, under direct supervision, you will perform analyses to contribute to our understanding of immune state in our patient cohorts. You will integrate molecular data with clinical information to understand how the immune system impacts disease outcomes. You will be expected to document your analyses, present your progress and results, and participate in lab meetings. We currently have several projects examining the relationship between immune state and health outcomes in a variety of UCSF patient cohorts, including infection, autoimmunity, and cancer. Our aim is to better understand how the immune system is wired and responds, to develop better disease diagnosis and treatments. As a member of our labs, you will contribute to the design of new experiments, help maintain our computational infrastructure, and track the flow of samples and information for large-scale studies. This position is jointly offered by Dr. Alexis Combes and Dr. Gabriela Fragiadakis, who both direct CoLab teams that often collaboratively pursue questions of immune state using single-cell methods, providing an environment of wet-lab and computational biologists with whom to work. While this position requires some proficiency in programming and data analysis, candidates who are fast and eager learners, who can readily adopt new bioinformatics pipelines/workflows that have been developed in the lab and the field at-large and apply them to a series of diverse projects can be successful in this role. An aptitude for collaborative work and organization is required to excel in our environment of diverse researchers. The candidate will receive training in data analysis, as well as develop expertise and intuition in biology. This position is ideal for recent graduates and can serve as a stepping-stone for a graduate program or career in bioinformatics, computational biology, or data science.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. Department Description
CoLabs is a new model for research collaborations for the UCSF community. CoLabs centralizes research teams and creates a set of common pipelines and workflows. It recruits and retains world class staff and trainees and develops transformative methods and technologies through engagement with the research community and institutional investments. The CoLabs initiative is comprised of five labs: Biological Imaging Development (BIDC), Data Science (DS), Disease to Biology (D2B), Flow Cytometry, and Genomics. The CoLabs help organize and integrate the UCSF community through common pipelines and data curation and pursue a set of collaborative “CoProjects” that tackle fundamental questions in the biomedical research. CoProject day-to-day operations are managed and run through the CoLabs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in biological science, computational / programming (bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, computer science, engineering), or related area and / or equivalent experience / training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, RAG techniques, and chatbot integrations to automate client business processes.
  • Design and build AI agents that support use cases such as compliance checking, policy analysis, meeting scheduling, and grant/clinical trial monitoring.
  • Enhance and maintain the existing client AI Chat Tool, ensuring seamless user experiences and high-accuracy responses using AI technologies.
  • Configure and optimize secure cloud infrastructure within client Azure environment to support AI applications.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define, prototype, test, and deploy AI use cases and assess automation’s impact on workload and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the development of project schedules, success metrics, and progress reports for leadership.
  • Ensure development activities align with client IT security standards, documentation practices, and change management processes.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integrate user feedback to iteratively improve pilot tools.
  • Develop training materials and deliver recorded sessions for staff education.
  • Collaborate with the client IT Infrastructure and Cloud Teams, using tools such as ServiceNow for ticket tracking and change requests.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years applying AI/ML in real-world solutions.
  • Minimum 2 years with Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure OpenAI services (Bot Services, Storage, Azure ML, etc.).
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and C#.
  • Strong background in data engineering (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience developing RAG pipelines, chatbots, and LLM-integrated applications.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for ticketing and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
Compensation and Benefits The projected compensation target salary is $92,500. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
