GENERAL PURPOSE:

Qualifications

Have a Doctorate and/or J.D. degree and also have one (1) years of comparable experience involving work that requires reviewing and evaluating comprehensive information and data on chemistry, formulation, manufacturing, biopharmaceutics, technical aspects of labeling, and environmental impact of pharmaceuticals. The work includes team-based evaluation and assessment of supplements through risk management practices. 4. Have a MD, DO, DDS, DPM, or DVM degree. Support the drafting and publishing of research papers, working papers, op-eds, and other written products by analyzing GCIM data. Present findings, approaches, and processes to the team clearly. Participate in public-facing research projects by preparing talking points and materials with the MIT CEEPR team.

  • Prior experience in a compliance and regulatory environment related to security and privacy including security compliance standards across industries and geographies such as ISO 27001, SOC, HIPAA, PCI, HITRUST, and FedRAMP, etc.
  • Project management and stakeholder management experience.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of different hyperscaler environments such as AWS.
  • Experience with compliance automation tools and processes.

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Job Description:
  • Collaborate with domain experts to understand requirements and translate them into actionable data science tasks
  • Learn from industry experts already at DTN
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in relevant datasets, including weather and Earth-observing satellite data, data from weather, energy, and agricultural modeling systems, and data from governmental sources such as the USDA, DOE, EIA, NOAA, and NASA
  • Identify and implement novel ways of integrating varied informational resources to fill in critical gaps in the data that are available for solving a particular problem
  • Develop and implement innovative machine learning models for classification, localization, prediction, and change detection
  • Develop data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
  • Apply satellite data in combination with other data resources and models to extract meaningful insights related to weather, agriculture, and energy
  • Conduct spatiotemporal analyses and build models to identify and forecast weather-related risks such as droughts, floods, and storms
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in satellite imagery analysis, machine learning, and data science techniques

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $63,750 and $85,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
